Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads
Home furniture brand Blu Dot blew up on CTV with help from Roku Ads Manager. Here’s how:
After a test campaign reached 211,000 households and achieved 1,010% ROAS, the brand went all in to promote its annual sales event. It removed age and income constraints to expand reach and shifted budget to custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.
The results speak for themselves. As Blu Dot increased their investment by 10x, ROAS jumped to 2,308% and more page-view conversions surpassed 50,000.
“For CTV campaigns, Roku has been a top performer,” said Claire Folkestad, Paid Media Strategist, Blu Dot. “Comping to our other platforms, we have seen really strong ROAS… and highly efficient CPMs, lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”
Using Roku Ads Manager, the campaign moved from a pilot to a permanent performance engine for the brand.

Aliko Dangote stated that shares in Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals, offered at N525 ($0.38) each in Africa's biggest IPO, could eventually reach N10,000 ($7.33), though he provided no timetable.
The 4.1 billion share IPO seeks N2.15 trillion ($1.58 billion) ahead of listing on the Nigerian Exchange. At the offer price, the company carries a post-offer valuation of about $47.8 billion. A share price of N10,000 would value the business near $910 billion. The refinery recorded $13.91 billion in first-half 2026 revenue and plans a $14.3 billion expansion to double capacity by 2029.

BRICS powers convene in India to expand local currency trade
Global leaders from the 11-member BRICS coalition—including South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Russia, China, and Saudi Arabia—gathered in New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit to finalize cross-border financial settlement platforms that bypass the US dollar. Discussions focused on deploying national currencies for bilateral trade, strengthening supply chain resilience, and insulating emerging markets from Western sanctions.
